The Sycamore Preschool strives to be a school in Christian Living. As the children learn to live within and outside the home, through sharing, group play and peer relationships, they are learning to respond to Christian and educational ideals. Your children will have an opportunity to associate regularly with other children the same age, in an environment designed and equipped for them. It is our hope that your child will grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally, socially and physically through our goals in this preschool experience.
Our preschool classes meet during the regular school year. With the exception of our beginning and ending dates, the Sycamore Preschool calendar follows the Manchester Community School calendar.

Sarah graduated from Indiana University, Ft. Wayne (IPFW) with a degree in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten Endorsement. She has found her calling in Early Childhood Education and has worked several years in the field. She loves to watch children learn, create, explore, and accomplish new things. She strives to create an environment for learning to be fun and truly believes that, “Play is the work of childhood," as quoted by Mr. Fred Rogers. She lives with her husband and two children in North Manchester.
Her goals for the three-year-old classroom are to establish a safe, secure, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. She hopes to help the children in her class thrive in their spiritual, social, motor, and academic development. She wants a child's first school experience to be a positive one, for them to learn of God's great love for them, and for the children in her class to develop a love of learning!
